Paneer Masala



paneer is cheese made of from cow's milk and it is readily available in any Indian supermarket.

Cut the cheese in cubes and roll the paneer pieces in flour or cornflour and deep fry the paneer pieces on medium heat till light brown.




Heat the pan with some olive oil and saute minced onion(1 big onion)
and 1 tablespoon of garlic and ginger paste
fry till onion turns translucent
and in 1 tablespoon of chili powder
and
1or 2tablespoon chicken stock
and
1 small can of tomato puree, 1tablespoon of tomato ketchup, 1/4 cup of water
and
add half teaspoon of coriander powder
and half teaspoon of garam masala
let it simmers...
and add some salt and sugar to taste
and add in fried paneer pieces to the gravy .. mix well and let it simmers for few minutes.
